Bet £20 get £20 ("the Promotion") Terms and Conditions ("terms")

1. The Promotion is only open to the new subscribers of www.betfair.com ("the Betfair Website") who have been referred via football bet. Users must input 'Football' in the referral field in order to claim the free bet. These users must have provided betfair.com with their verified debit or credit card details and not yet bet on the Betfair Website.

2. To qualify for this promotion, you must either back or lay 1 bet on any event until 31st December 2004.

3. Subject to the remainder of these terms, betfair.com will credit £20 to your betfair.com betting account within 48 hours. Such amount can only be used by you as stakes for betting on the Betfair Website and cannot be withdrawn. You must have bet £20 with one bet or matched a series of bets totalling £20 to receive the free bet.

4. Customers funding their accounts via our Moneybookers option will unfortunately not be eligible for any
promotional credits.

5. Betfair.com reserves the right to exclude you from the Promotion and from the Betfair Website if it believes that you have tried to benefit from this Promotion by using more than one user name or are otherwise engaging in fraudulent activity. In such instance, you shall not be entitled to participate in the Promotion and betfair.com shall not be obliged to provide reasons to you for such exclusion.

6. Betfair.com will restrict this promotion to the first 1000 users who qualify for this promotion.

7. "Betfair.com" is the trading name for The Sporting Exchange Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 3770548 and whose registered office is at Waterfront, Hammersmith Embankment, Winslow Road, London. Participation in the Promotion is subject to these terms and to the Terms and Conditions of The Sporting Exchange Limited, which can be viewed by clicking on the "About Us" link in the navigation bar at the top of the home page of www.betfair.com.

8. Acceptance of these terms and of the Terms and Conditions of The Sporting Exchange Limited are conditions of entry to the Promotion and of your entitlement to any winnings arising there from. Betfair.com shall not be liable to you for your participation in the Promotion or otherwise in connection with these terms. Betfair.com reserves the right to vary the terms of, or terminate, the Promotion and/or to withdraw any offers described in these terms at any time and without notice and shall not be held liable for doing so.
