Betfair Odds Comparison disclosure
The odds comparison shows Betfair’s odds, after deducting the maximum 5% commission that may apply. Betfair charge a commission of between 2% and 5% on a net winning position in a market.
The Betfair odds shown are only those that are available to a minimum £35 stake.
“Average bookie” odds show mean prices from up to 4 nominated bookies, and are only used where at least 3 of the 4 nominated bookies offer odds on a market. For horseracing, the nominated bookies are; William Hill, Ladbrokes, Blue Square and Coral. For soccer and other sports, the nominated bookies are Ladbrokes, SkyBet and BlueSquare.
Odds are provided by Oddschecker and are as of the time shown.
The odds shown are from the Betfair win markets. Betfair offers bets on win and place markets rather than each way bets, which may be offered by the bookies.
Comparisons are only shown on selections where Betfair odds are better than the average bookie odds so to make a comparison of all selections in a market check the prices out on oddschecker.com
The % difference value displayed is the % difference in profit you would receive if a bet was placed on the runner shown at Betfair. It is calculated using odds prices to 2 decimal places of accuracy. The odds displayed, show those same odds rounded to 1 decimal place.
  An example:
If the odds on Hedgehunter to win The Grand National are 4.1 with Betfair and the Average Bookie odds are 3.75 then the % difference in odds would be approximately 7.1%. This can be calculated by working out how much better off you would be by placing a bet:

If you had £10 at Betfair odds of 4.1 this could potentially return £39.45 (£29.45 winnings based on £31 less 5%), whereas £10 at average bookie odds of 3.75 could return £37.50 (£27.50 winnings). The difference is £1.95, which can be expressed as a percentage by the sum (£1.95 divided by £27.50) x 100 = 7.1%
