With Betfair now offering so many markets and products, it’s impossible to cater perfectly for every customer. Personal preferences, betting styles and available technology mean most of us want something different to the standard settings on the Betfair interface. And there’s never enough time to tell you about all of our latest inventions either!

Take the time during a quiet part of the day to test out the More Options settings (found beneath the Refresh button on every market) and also visit http://labs.betfair.com. This is where you can find our latest ideas and creations to try for yourself. Many of these products will appeal to a niche part of the market so they are unlikely to become part of the main site – but that’s not to say they can’t make your Betfair experience even better!

LIVE VIDEO VISTA GADGET

The Live Video Vista Gadget enables you to watch and place bets on live streamed events direct to your desktop. Such events include horseracing, soccer and tennis. For more information about the live streaming please visit http://livevideo.betfair.com.

In addition to the video and betting functionality, the gadget can also display your current matched and unmatched bets (up to 50 bets), enabling you to track your bets getting matched across all markets without needing to log into the main betfair.com site. You can customise the listing to see fully or partially matched bets ordered by either stake amount, time of bet or the percentage of the bet which has been matched.

Please note, Australian events are currently not available through the gadget.

What is a Gadget?

As part of Betfair’s commitment to staying at the leading edge of development we have developed this gadget for the Vista Operating system. Gadgets are a new feature of Microsoft Vista, they are mini-applications running in the Vista Taskbar that put information and tasks at your fingertips without introducing extra clutter.
