The best of British racing comes to Betfair Live Video

Just in time for Cheltenham, we are delighted to announce that customers can watch the best of British racing via Live Streaming. So if you don’t have a Racing UK subscription, you don’t have to miss the last two races of the Festival each day after the Channel 4 coverage ends! Simply place a bet on a race to be able to view it.

Pictures will be only available in Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player, delays are expected to be 10-30 seconds so live betting is not recommended.

Another of our recent innovations to Betfair Racing is Tote betting via your Betfair account. Try your luck in the big pools of the Festival.

You can now bet on the following UK Tote markets from your Betfair account:

Jackpot
Placepot
Quadpot
Exacta
Trifecta

Customers will receive Betfair Points on all Tote bets and no commission is charged.

To bet on the Tote with Betfair, go to the GB section of the Horse Racing menu and click the Tote link.

A minimum £2 stake is required for all Tote bets with a minimum of 10p per line.

Each Way Betting

No longer do you have to switch between markets to place both win and place bets. Just in time for Cheltenham, we are introducing Each-Way bets at the Betfair Starting Price. We’ve developed a special quick bet application to place your Each-Way bets at Win SP and Place SP, so if you’re in a rush to get a bet on, check out the new betting options via the new Horseracing homepage - http://horseracing.betfair.com.

The minimum phone bet is now just £2

To make our phone service available to more punters and the calls even cheaper, we’ve changed all of our Helpdesk and Telephone betting numbers. The old numbers will still be valid for a while, but switching to the new 0844 numbers will be cheaper straight away.

Scorecast markets on Soccer

All major soccer fixtures on Betfair will now feature Scorecast markets, where customers can back or lay a combination of First Goalscorer and Correct Score options. This is quite a common and high percentage market offered by bookmakers, so you’ll be able to make the most of much better odds on Betfair.
