Welcome to another edition of InPlay.
It’s a great time of year to be a Betfair punter – World Cups in rugby and Twenty20 cricket, an exciting climax to the flat season, the Champions League kicking off and even the NFL on a Sunday night is taking my fancy lately.
The World Series of Poker Europe presented by Betfair.com, came to a dramatic conclusion on Sunday night in London, with 18 year-old Norwegian Annette Obrestad beating the world’s best for a prize of £1 million. Read more about it here.
