Betfair teams up with SportsAid

I'm Steve Backley, double Olympic silver medallist, and official ambassador for the Betfair-SportsAid partnership. I am proud to announce that SportsAid is Betfair's new charity partner. The partnership will see the two working together to raise funds over a two-year period. Betfair will then match what is raised each year up to £125,000.

As an alumnus of SportsAid, who supported me from an early age, I can only stress the invaluable work that this charity does in supporting the next generation of British sportsmen and women. I am therefore proud to be associated with the ongoing work of the cause and, in particular, to be able to bring SportsAid to Betfair directly.

Our major fundraising initiative is the SportsAid Celebrity Sports Quiz at Lord's on Thursday, 24th May. This should be a fantastic event and we hope that this is something that you would like to attend. For more details please see the flyer. I hope to see you there!
