We want you to be part of The Betfair Academy!

The Betfair Academy is a training seminar specifically designed to teach our Refer and Earn Customers how to explain and demonstrate Betfair effectively. We know our platform isn't the easiest concept to explain to regular punters, so we've created this eight hour course to sharpen up your skills and enhance your potential for profit. Personal instruction is always the most effective way to pass knowledge on.

Who is it designed for?

Existing clients who want to bring more punters to Betfair - and be rewarded for it.

What will it give me that I don't already have?

Graduates of the Betfair Academy will receive an official endorsement from Betfair. We will list your details on a Betfair Accredited Trainers Directory, which will enable you to charge for your tuition if you choose to do so. This will provide you with extra credibility and extra earning power.

How will Betfair help me?

In addition to being listed on the Accredited Trainers Directory, you will have access to Betfair training materials, merchandise and first look at new educational programmes we are developing.

What it's not:

If you are looking for in-depth and expert tuition in how to use Betfair, this is not the course. We want to train you to train others.

Wednesday 3rd May from 12pm to 9pm at The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch, London*. As well as the training, lunch, refreshments and live evening racing will be provided.

Market Operations

Betfair World Cup Markets (up now and coming soon)

There are no prizes for guessing who's favourite in the Winner's market and after a quick look at Brazil's starting line-up it's easy to understand why. England go into the tournament as second-favorites but those keen on backing longer-priced teams need only look back to Euro 2004 and Greece who were backed at as big as 500/1 to know that major upsets do happen in big tournaments.

If you fancy backing an outsider to go far but not quite all the way you might fancy a punt at a big price on the "Reach The Final" or "Final Four" markets.

But before the drama of the latter stages of the competition kicks in, there's the group stage and as the old Wimbledon motto goes "You can't win the competition in the first week but you can certainly lose it". Last time round hot favourites France crashed out at the group stage and if you fancy a similar upset you will have the opportunity to lay favourites at short prices on the "To Qualify" and "Group Winner" markets. There will also be a Group Winner Acca available to bet on and an Origin of Winner market where you can bet on which group the winner of the competition will come from. A South American team has only once won the World Cup when staged on European soil but if you think 2006 will make it two then you should back Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay or Ecuador!
