Following enquiries about NFL teasers we thought we’d give a brief explanation as to what they are. NFL teasers are handicap bets with a twist. They usually use the common handicap line with an enhancement of 6 points. You choose two teams you think will win at the teaser handicap line, put them together in a double and BOTH handicaps are usually improved by the 6 points:- Example of a teaser Lets say your selections are Tampa Bay (@Atlanta) and NY Giants (@Philadelphia); instead of betting them in the handicap markets at –3.5 (TB) and +6.5 (NYG) points, in a teaser, the handicaps will usually be +2.5 and +12.5 points respectively. If you backed TB +2.5 / NYG +12.5 in the NFL teaser If the final scores were Tampa Bay 19 NY Giants 20 Your selection would be a winner You can find teasers located under American Football – NFL Season 05/06 – Teasers. They will be onsite by the Friday before the Sunday’s games.
