December proved to be a great month for our tipsters with all of them finding winners during the month.
The stand out performance though came from Laura Davies who having failed to find a winner during November promptly found three during December; selecting the draw in the Arsenal vs Chelsea game, picking Moscow Flyer to win the Tingle Creek and ‘lumping on’ Band Aid in the Christmas Number 1 market. The result of this inspired tipping sees Laura’s balance sit at £459.30 after two months and moves her into 2nd place overall.
Tony Cascarino consolidated his position as the leading tipster helped in no small part by the excellent pick of Retief Gossen at good odds (4.9) to win the Nedbank Challenge. Tony placed £100 on the South African star and duly added £490 to the £132 he won in November (Tony’s other two bets proving less successful)
The man with it all to do is Angus Loughran who correctly selected Bayer Leverkusen to beat Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League placing £50 on the German side at 1.77 which returned £88.50 (including stake). Angus also tipped Supreme Glory at long odds of 28.0 to win the Welsh National (Ante Post) and was unfortunate to see the horse pull up during the race.
Having raised the bar during December it should be interesting to see whether January’s tips live up to last months standards
